Waiting for Clouds to Pass
When I looked around, I was surrounded by a comforting darkness.
Then it began to storm.
When the rain first starts, it’s always bearable until it isn’t. Until clothes are heavy, heads are cold, and lightning is striking.
I was stranded with no choice but to go through it. I held my breath. Winds tore me apart and my body had grown numb to everything that mattered.
Then the sun came out and I finally rested.
7 colors danced across my eyes and the sky, telling me the worst has passed. I can finally feel again.
